Postpone Blanco County Jury Service

This form is used to request your FIRST postponement from a jury summons date to District Court in Blanco County. If you have not received a reply with a new date by the court date, then you must appear in person on your summons date and request a postponement.  Remember: further postponement can only be obtained in the event of an unforeseeable emergency.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
If any of the following are true, you must call the District Clerk's office directly.

  1. Your address has changed.
  2. The information on your Jury Summons is incorrect.
  3. You have already received a previous postponement. Subsequent postponements can only be requested because of an extreme emergency that could not have been anticipated, such as a death in the person’s family, sudden serious illness suffered by the person, or natural disaster or national emergency in which the person is personally involved. Chapter 62, Section 62.0142 Texas Government Code.
