Some Conventions:
You will see a number of terms with a glossary_link description. They are flagged with a symbol that looks like the small blue question mark icon you see after the word "glossary" in this sentence. Click on the icon to see a definition.
SHIFT-click on a link at you'll open a new web browser page. This helps you to not lose track of where you were before you clicked that link. When done, just close the new browser window. A number of the links open a new window anyway but not all of them do.
Visual Theme: You can change the visual theme of the site among several choices. Edit your account by clicking on 'my account' and choosing 'edit' ... you'll see a drop-down box of choices. Depending on your computer monitor and the screen resolution at which you have it set different themes render differently.
What can you do here? The short answer is, you can be a passive reader or an active participant. You'll find a lot of information about practice, customs and procedures in the 33rd on this site. And, hopefully, you'll find a community of like-minded practitioners including attorneys, district clerks, the court staff, and a few select others with a direct need to know and participate here.
Searching The search box you see at the upper right of the page is a very powerful search tool that searches only within this site. Just type in a few key words and if that search does not yield what you hoped for, a more advanced search box will be offered.
You can make comments to entries here and are encouraged to do so if you want to ask for or give clarification to one of the entries or offer a suggestion for other users.
