Civil Scheduling Order - usage

You will find a [Civil Scheduling Order|form for docket/discovery level 3 order] for your possible, but optional use. It is available in both [WordPerfect] and [Adobe PDF] formats. Any time the Court requests such an order to be drafted you may use this order or any other of your choosing. There are only a few prerequisites preferred by the Court:

  • Have a firm trial date confirmed with the Court Administrator for your starting point

  • Include a mediation date or deadline.

  • If it may reasonably be expected that a Robinson/Daubert issue may arise, then include cutoff dates for motions and hearing thereon. Include a cutoff, and get a setting date confirmed, far enough in advance of trial so that an adverse ruling will not generate a continuance request.

  • You may not change the expert deadlines or trial date w/o an order from the Court approving same.
