Much of the content on the internet now can be "syndicated" much like AP and other commercial news services. That content includes news type sites, portions of conventional web sites and blogs. There is a huge amount of information that can be aggregated in this manner.

The "news feeds" section will take you to an area where a number of such feeds have been set up. Each feed will show a bit of a preview of the content with a link to read the rest.

But read it quickly. They're updated automatically every 12 hours. If you see something you want to read you'd best jump on it.

There are three things you can do with a newsfeed:

1. Read the article.

Just click on the title.

2. Blog it.

(NOTE: this does not work in all themes) . . . Click on "blog it" to create a blog entry thru which to discuss the article. It will be automatically pasted into the beginning of the blog. Caution: the pasted entry will have a bunch of HTML code in it. Tinker at your own risk!

3. Go to the feed itself.

Click on "Feed" and you'll go to the entire feed source.
