Online Setting Request

The Almost Automatic Method

There is now also an online system (see below) to check possible dates and to request a setting via email. This is the preferred method as it is the most efficient for both counsel and the CA. This involves:

  1. Check your potential dates via the web-based calendar.
  2. Firm up with opposing counsel.
  3. Request the date via the web email form.
  4. CA approves via email.

The confirmation email from the CA serves as the setting notice and is filed in the Clerk's office.   The only additional step you will have is to fax a copy of the confirming email to any side that does not have email.

Check Calendar for Dates: The online calendar is dynamically updated and presented in a conventional calendar format a month at a time showing all "master" settings for the month and displayable to show just jury weeks, nonjury weeks, or all. It's also searchable. This is where you find possible dates.

Request Your Setting:  Web-based form to send a formatted email to request a setting.

If you prefer to send a conventional notice, then see WordPerfect form here or See PDF form here.
