Web-based Master Calendar and
Web-based email form for requesting a setting.

This is the same information that was sent to the Court's general email list and is presented here for permanent reference.
Our scheme of presenting the Master Calendar has changed: we now have on the web a calendar that is dynamically updated and presented in a conventional calendar format a month at a time showing all "master" settings for the month and displayable to show just jury weeks, nonjury weeks, or all. You can discern the type (jury/nonjury), docket (criminal, civil, family or juvenile), location (which county) and (when known) the judge assigned.
Every master setting that exists will display on this calendar within moments after it is established. At the bottom of the page you will find links to jump to specific months, weeks or years. At the top of the page is a full month calendar for the prior and next months and clicking on the name of the month involved will take you to that month, moving forward or backward one month at a time.
There is also a web-based system with which to request a setting. It uses "Form Mail" to generate a formatted email request directly to the Court Administrator. The Form Mail system will guide you thru all of the information needed in order to make the request, will email the request simultaneously to all opposing counsel whose emails you furnish, and will result in your obtaining a confirming email.
This is experimental at present but fully functional. We will try it first for minor hearings and if it proves to be useful and workable for both attorneys and court staff, then we will expand the usage.
Check it out starting on the Court's home page and while there be sure you see the following pages and check certain links as noted:
Home page
Check the "Fast Links for Attys" box.
Note the choices especially for Master Scheduling Info, the Master Web Calendar and Request a Setting. This drop-down box is intended to give you quick access to the parts of the web site of primary interest to attorneys.
Back on the Home page, pick each of those links one at a time, go to the pages for those functions (notice you get a new browser window) and get comfortable with:
finding out about scheduling generally,
how to find an available date and
how to request a setting via the web form email.
Feel free to generate a test email request --- just be sure to let EVA know it's a test. There is a comment box where you can note that. You can put your own email in the box for opposing counsel and be able to see what is generated because you'll get an email back just like opposing counsel and the coordinater will see.
