Local Rules of Court (DISCUSSION DRAFT)

(Revised Jan 12, 2006)

The intent of this 'book' is to publish an online set of the local rules and to use this vehicle to publish the draft for comment and collaboratively create the new rules with the entire legal community. At present, these are partial, rough drafts only and have not been adopted.  THIS IS A DISCUSSION DRAFT WHICH IS NOW PRESENTED FOR INITIAL PERUSAL AND COMMENT BY THE BAR.

Each section that follows has the referenced text included in this web page and there is ALSO, attached to each page, a PDF file of the same content.  Thus you can read it online very easily, or can download and print the file section from the PDF file. This gives you the ability to focus on just the section of the rules of immediate interest to you.

Lastly, attached to this page is an Adobe PDF of the entire rule set.

Eventually, this "book" will contain the final, as adopted, rules.

Anyone can view these rules. However, unless you are a registered user and are logged in, you will not see any of the comments posted below them (once people start commenting) and you will not be able to post a comment.  Please note: Only the following may register on this site: attorneys and their confidential staff; the judge and judge's staff and reporters; and the elected district clerks of the several counties.
